According to Zelenskyy, three people were injured in a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv. In the Kharkiv region, a drone attack on residential buildings killed one person and wounded nine others, including two children, News.Az reports, citing Anadolu Agency.
“My condolences to their families and loved ones,” Zelenskyy wrote on X, adding that emergency crews were continuing to battle a fire at a building supply hypermarket in Kryvyi Rih.

Zelenskyy said Russia launched eight missiles and 136 drones overnight, with many of the aerial threats intercepted by Ukraine’s air defenses. He said the attacks targeted Kyiv as well as the Kherson, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia and Chernihiv regions.
The Ukrainian leader also claimed Russia had launched nearly 1,700 drones, more than 1,630 guided aerial bombs and 95 missiles over the past week, with more than half of the missiles being ballistic.
Meanwhile, Russia’s Defense Ministry said its forces carried out precision overnight strikes against what it described as Ukraine’s military-industrial facilities in Kyiv and infrastructure at the port of Chornomorsk in the Odesa region that was allegedly used to receive and store military cargo and fuel for Ukrainian forces.
The ministry also claimed Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed 1,333 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory, Russian-annexed Crimea and the Black Sea.
The competing claims from both sides could not be independently verified due to the ongoing war.
