Rutte highlighted Ukraine’s rapid military innovation despite Russia’s invasion, describing the country’s transformation into a major drone producer as “incredible,” News.Az reports.
“This incredible fact that Ukraine is exceeding our expectations,” Rutte said, referring to the country’s wartime military development.

He said the priority now is bringing the conflict to the negotiating table.
“What we now need to do… is for Putin to end the bloodbath and to come to the negotiating table. It is really crucial,” Rutte said.
Rutte credited Trump with reopening communication channels with Moscow after what he described as a diplomatic stalemate.
“He is the one who broke the deadlock with Putin. He is the one whom we look for leadership, and he’s providing that leadership,” Rutte said.
Looking ahead to another meeting between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Rutte said the discussions would likely focus on increasing pressure on Moscow.
“They will meet again… and no doubt we’ll discuss what collectively we can do to put more pressure on Putin to get to the negotiating table and to end this bloodbath,” he said.
