Three people were killed on Saturday, while another Palestinian died from injuries sustained in an Israeli attack the previous day, the sources said, Al Jazeera reported.
In Gaza City, an Israeli drone struck a civilian vehicle in the Sheikh Radwan market area, killing one person and injuring at least four others, including two children, according to Gaza’s civil defence agency.

The vehicle caught fire following the strike, with rescue teams later recovering a body that was reportedly severely burned. The vehicle remained on fire for about half an hour before emergency crews were able to extinguish it.
Mahmoud also reported that Israeli reconnaissance aircraft, attack drones and quadcopters had been flying at low altitude over several parts of the Gaza Strip.
In northern Gaza, an Israeli drone strike in Jabalia killed Basir al-Bursh, the eldest son of Munir al-Bursh, director-general of Gaza’s Health Ministry. Another person was seriously wounded in the attack, according to the report.
Basir al-Bursh was taken to hospital with severe blood loss and was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Footage obtained by Al Jazeera showed Munir al-Bursh carrying his son’s body, wrapped in a blanket, as mourners took him to hospital.
Al-Bursh said his son had expressed concern that both of them were being targeted. He said Basir was killed shortly after leaving a tent in the area.
According to Al Jazeera, the strike occurred near alternative learning spaces established by local organizations behind a field hospital, where students were attending classes.
Gaza’s Health Ministry issued condolences to al-Bursh, describing Basir as his “dutiful eldest son” and mourning his death.
There was no immediate statement from Israeli authorities cited by Al Jazeera explaining the Jabalia strike.
Separately, one Palestinian was killed when Israeli forces struck the Shujayea neighborhood east of Gaza City, according to a source in Gaza’s ambulance and emergency services.
In central Gaza, a Palestinian girl died from injuries sustained in Israeli gunfire north of the Nuseirat refugee camp a day earlier, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah said.
The hospital also reported that a woman and another person were wounded by Israeli gunfire east of the Maghazi refugee camp.
Hamas said Saturday that its political chief, Khalil al-Hayya, had spoken with regional mediators about Israel’s intensified attacks in Gaza and violence in the occupied West Bank.
Qatar, Egypt and Türkiye, which have played mediation roles in Gaza, issued a joint statement last month condemning what they described as ongoing Israeli violations in the enclave.
According to figures cited by Al Jazeera, Israeli attacks have killed at least 1,390 Palestinians in Gaza since a US-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was announced in October 2025.
The report also cited Gaza health authorities as saying more than 73,910 Palestinians have been killed and 174,914 wounded since the war began in October 2023.
UNICEF said last month that an average of one child a day was being killed in Gaza, while Palestinian families were largely confined to a smaller portion of the enclave amid widespread destruction and debris.
