“The Interior Ministry calls on residents and citizens to remain calm and head to the nearest safe place,” the ministry said.
The alerts came as Iran continued retaliatory strikes targeting facilities and military bases that Tehran claims are used by US forces in several Gulf countries, including Bahrain.

The latest warning follows days of escalating hostilities between Washington and Tehran. The United States has carried out successive strikes against targets inside Iran, while Iran has responded with missile and drone attacks on locations linked to the US military across the region.
Bahraini authorities did not immediately report any casualties or damage following the activation of the air raid alerts, and it remained unclear whether any missiles or drones had entered the country’s airspace.
The renewed exchange of attacks comes despite a Pakistan-brokered memorandum of understanding signed in June that was intended to end the conflict and lay the foundation for a lasting peace agreement between the United States and Iran.
The security alert underscores growing concerns that the confrontation between Washington and Tehran could draw additional Gulf states further into the regional conflict.
