The man, identified as Ali Sabah, died in a hospital after the drone attack in the Nabatieh district, Anadolu Agency reported.

The ministry said the incident involved two separate strikes. The second strike reportedly hit a medical response team that had arrived to treat the wounded man and damaged an ambulance.
The latest incident comes as tensions and military activity continue in southern Lebanon despite an ongoing diplomatic process aimed at reducing hostilities.
Lebanese authorities say Israeli military operations since March 2 have killed 4,335 people and wounded 12,277 others, while more than 1 million people have been displaced.
Under US sponsorship, Beirut and Tel Aviv signed a framework agreement on June 26 calling for Israel’s gradual withdrawal from occupied Lebanese territory in return for the deployment of the Lebanese army and the disarmament of armed groups, including Hezbollah.
However, Israel continues to maintain forces in parts of southern Lebanon. Some areas have been occupied for decades, while others were taken during the 2023–2024 war.
Israeli forces have also advanced more than 10 kilometers (6 miles) into Lebanese territory during the current conflict, according to Lebanese authorities.
The latest strike underscores the continued volatility in southern Lebanon as negotiations proceed over security arrangements and Israeli withdrawal.
