The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) confirmed in a post on US social media platform X that the suspect involved in the incident was deceased, along with one confirmed victim, Anadolu agency reported.

“We are currently clearing the building and will provide updates as they are available,” the office said.
In a later update, HCSO said 367 deputies had responded to the Sabal Center scene, working alongside specialized units “to secure the area, clear the scene and ensure the safety of everyone involved.”
“Our deputies continue to work diligently to maintain public safety,” the office added.
The sheriff’s office said it would release further information as it became available.
