According to a statement on X by the Giants Brigades, the ship was caught attempting to sail toward the western coast of the Al Hudaydah province—an area where key ports remain under Houthi control. Three sailors suspected of having ties to the Houthi group were detained on board and are currently being questioned, News.Az reports, citing Anadolu Agency.
The intercepted cargo contained a sophisticated array of manufacturing gear. Troops uncovered hydraulic drilling equipment, servers, electronic microchips for drone operations, and GPS tracking devices intended for precision guidance. Additionally, the shipment held engines and specialized equipment designed to assemble remote-controlled “suicide boats.”
