In Sloviansk, a Russian drone struck at about 8:20 a.m. Kyiv time, hitting a store in a residential neighborhood and triggering a fire. Three people were injured in the attack.
Kramatorsk was attacked repeatedly later in the morning. According to local authorities, Russian forces struck the city nine times from about 10:50 a.m., injuring seven people.
Preliminary reports indicated that FAB-250 aerial bombs equipped with UMPK guidance modules were used in the attacks.
In Kramatorsk, strikes damaged or hit a store, a business and an infrastructure facility, according to the regional administration.
Emergency services remained at the affected locations as authorities assessed the damage and responded to the attacks.
Local officials urged residents of the Donetsk region to remain alert and consider evacuating to safer areas amid the continuing threat of Russian attacks.
The strikes came after a separate overnight Russian attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region involving ballistic missiles and drones.
Authorities reported deaths and dozens of injuries in Kyiv and the nearby city of Brovary, while residential buildings, warehouses and critical infrastructure were damaged.
The latest attacks underscore the continuing threat to civilian areas in Ukraine as Russian strikes persist across the country.
