An Israeli drone strike hit a group of Palestinians north of Khan Younis in southern Gaza early Friday, killing three members of the Abdeen family. Their bodies were taken to Nasser Medical Complex, Al Jazeera reported.
In Gaza City, another Israeli drone strike targeted a group of civilians in the Sabra neighborhood, killing a Palestinian man identified by the Wafa news agency as Hassan al-Deiri. Several other people were wounded and taken to Al-Shifa Hospital.

A separate attack struck a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians in the Mashahra area east of Gaza City, killing one person and injuring several others.
The latest attacks came despite a ceasefire that has been in place since October 2025 and amid growing concerns over its durability.
The Israeli military also carried out a strike in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin on Friday, killing three Palestinians. The army identified one of those killed as Qais Bitawi and alleged that he was a Hamas operative, without providing evidence in the report.
Israel’s military also said it had killed two Palestinian commanders in separate attacks on Gaza City on Thursday, identifying them as members of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The claims were not independently verified.
Israeli forces meanwhile carried out a large-scale demolition operation in areas under their control southeast of Gaza City, according to Al Jazeera reporters in the enclave.
The violence is unfolding alongside a worsening humanitarian crisis. New data released by the United Nations World Food Programme on Thursday showed that 46% of people surveyed in Gaza said they had gone to bed hungry at least once during the previous 30 days.
The figures highlight the continuing food insecurity facing Palestinians across the strip, where access to food and other essential supplies remains a major concern.
The latest deaths also come as the future of the Gaza ceasefire remains uncertain, with continued Israeli military operations and unresolved disputes over the next phase of the agreement raising fears of renewed escalation.
