The affected services included the Alisa voice assistant, Yandex Music, the Telemost video conferencing platform and Yandex Home. More than 80 services in Yandex Cloud availability zones also experienced outages, affecting computing and networking resources, databases, storage, artificial intelligence services such as the YandexGPT API, and tools used by developers and businesses.

Earlier, Yandex Cloud reported power supply disruptions in one of its availability zones.
Vladimir Region Governor Alexander Avdeyev confirmed that drones had targeted infrastructure on the outskirts of the city. A fire broke out following the attack, while the shutdown of two substations left around 5,000 residents without electricity.
Authorities said power supplies were expected to be restored through a backup system once the threat had passed. Residents living closest to the targeted facility were being evacuated. Avdeyev said no residential buildings had been destroyed and no casualties had been reported.
Russian authorities had not issued a separate official statement detailing the attack on the data center at the time of the report.
The incident follows another reported drone attack on Yandex’s largest data center in Russia’s Ryazan region on October 8. That strike sparked a major fire and was followed by disruptions to Yandex services across the country.
Yandex also removed data centers in four Russian regions from its maps on the same day, including the facility that was reportedly targeted.
Meanwhile, Russian strikes have also damaged data center infrastructure in Ukraine. According to RBC-Ukraine, the Omega Telecom data center in Kyiv ceased operations following an attack, while an earlier strike destroyed the dline.ua data center in the Ukrainian capital.
