“They hit here and there. Nothing particularly significant. Nevertheless they are carrying on,” Putin said during a video-linked meeting with members of the Delovaya Rossiya business organisation, Reuters reported.
His comments came hours after a Ukrainian drone attack sparked a fire at an oil refinery in Russia’s Ryazan region, according to the regional governor.

The incident marked the first confirmed Ukrainian attack on a Russian energy facility since US President Donald Trump announced on Sunday that Moscow and Kyiv had agreed to an energy ceasefire.
On Wednesday, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said Ukraine had attacked oil refineries in the Saratov and Ryazan regions. Ukraine denied involvement in those attacks.
Putin’s remarks came amid continued tensions over energy infrastructure, which has been targeted during Russia’s war against Ukraine. Further developments could test the recently announced ceasefire, although the circumstances surrounding individual attacks remain disputed.
