The incident occurred at the Gornja Tuzla school in Tuzla Canton. Police were alerted at around 9:25 a.m. after receiving reports of noise coming from the schoolyard, Xinhua reported.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found that a girl had used a knife to injure two other female students.

The injured students were taken to hospital by ambulance. Their injuries are not life-threatening, and both are in stable condition.
School principal Azra Feukic said the school administration immediately contacted the students’ parents and notified the relevant authorities.
She added that the school would continue to act in accordance with legally prescribed procedures.
The 15-year-old girl suspected of carrying out the attack is currently under police supervision, while an investigation into the incident is underway.
