The Insider reached out to Artem Snezhkov’s brother, Andrey. Andrey did not deny that his brother had been wounded, but when asked directly whether he could confirm that Artem had been attacked, replied: “I don’t know.” After that, Andrey stopped responding to messages from the journalist.
The publication established that income records for Senior Lieutenant Snezhkov from 2020 listed his place of work as the Krasnodar Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots named after A. K. Serov. In 2024, Snezhkov was registered in Tambov at an address within the Tambov-4 area, which borders the Tambov (Dinary) military airfield. That address also included the note “military unit.”
