In the local market, 24-karat gold registered a gain of Rs 1,000 per tola, bringing its price to Rs 523,762. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 857, reaching Rs 449,041.
Silver prices also followed an upward trend. The per tola rate of silver rose by Rs 128 to settle at Rs 8,569, while the price for 10 grams went up by Rs 110, reaching Rs 7,346.
