In an interview with CNN, Trump said the likelihood of further military action would depend on whether Iran agreed to the proposed terms, while warning that Washington remained prepared to strike if necessary, Anadolu Agency reported.
“It depends on whether or not they sign a very strong agreement … The answer is highly unlikely it’s going to be necessary,” he said.

Trump claimed that US forces had already inflicted significant damage on Iran during previous military operations and said Washington could resume strikes to “finish them off”.
“We’re ready for it. I’ve got three aircraft carriers here. The other one just arrived. We have three. They’re fully locked and loaded,” he said.
Discussing potential military targets, Trump claimed that US forces had identified 38 bridges in Iran that could be destroyed within an hour.
However, he said he was reluctant to target civilian transport infrastructure, arguing that rebuilding the bridges would take around a decade.
