According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the operation successfully hit two vital road bridges in the Donetsk region: one spanning the Hruzkyi Yalanchyk River near Huselnykove and another over the Kalmius River near Staromarivka. Russian military forces had been relying heavily on both bridges to transport troops, heavy weaponry, ammunition, and essential frontline supplies, News.Az reports, citing RBC-Ukraine.
The weekend offensive also struck three major Russian ammunition depots spread across eastern and southern Ukraine, targeting storage sites near Makiivka in the Donetsk region, Dovzhansk in the Luhansk region, and Preobrazhenka in the Kherson region. These strikes follow a broader 40-day campaign by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) that recently wiped out a Russian attack drone command post in the Mykolaiv region, disabled fuel depots in Crimea, hit a communications hub near Huliaipole, and severely damaged multiple fighter jets during consecutive drone raids on the Saky air base.
