Carter rewarded after strong start to NFL career
The 25-year-old has emerged as one of the league’s top defensive linemen since being selected by Philadelphia with the ninth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Over his first three seasons, Carter has recorded 13.5 sacks, 37 quarterback hits and 108 total tackles, while earning Pro Bowl selections in each of the past two seasons.
His best campaign came during the Eagles’ Super Bowl-winning 2024 season, when he received second-team All-Pro honors after leading the team in quarterback pressures, tackles for loss and quarterback hits.
