The evacuation order comes amid heightened tensions in the Gaza Strip following Israeli warnings over kites, balloons and other objects launched from Gaza toward Israel. Israel has threatened further military action and evacuation orders if such launches continue.

On Sunday, Israeli airstrikes in Gaza killed at least two people, including a four-year-old boy, and wounded seven others, according to Palestinian health officials. Israel said it would intensify strikes after what it described as launches of balloons, drones and kites from Gaza.
The latest evacuation order concerns an area close to the Al-Shati refugee camp, one of the densely populated parts of Gaza City. Witnesses said the neighborhood accommodates both longtime residents and Palestinians displaced from other parts of the Gaza Strip.
The development adds to mounting uncertainty for civilians in Gaza City, where repeated evacuation warnings have forced many Palestinians to move between already overcrowded areas.
Anadolu reported that the Israeli military had acknowledged that kites recovered near Gaza contained no suspicious material and posed no danger, despite the threats linked to their use.
